Oregano is a blend all on its own. Grown in the Ponderland gardens, Talan harvests, garbles, dehydrates, and bottles it himself (well his Dad sometimes helps!) He waits for just the right moment when the flavor is at its peak, and that’s when he goes in. The leaves are gently crushed by hand, not powdered with machines, to preserve those vibrant flavors held in the leaf. This bold, aromatic herb shines in Mexican dishes, Italian sauces. A little goes a long way.

Talan’s Twang starts with the best paprika because Talan is a total paprika snob. A pinch of sea salt, a dash of black pepper, and just enough spice to make your tongue perk up. The real twist comes from his not-so-secret secret ingredient: A splash of vinegar powder that creates what Talan proudly calls the Perfect Twang Ratio. It’s bold, balanced, and just right. Use it on BBQ, marinades, meat rubs, roasted veggies, and yes, even popcorn.

About the Twang
Talan’s Twang brings the bold, smoky taste of the Carolinas straight to your kitchen. Each spice blend is handcrafted using only the finest ingredients~taste ~tested and approved by Talan himself. Many of the herbs are grown right in our backyard garden in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Talan, age 14, has always had a passion for experimenting in the kitchen. What began as a love for seasoning his popcorn turned into a full-blown obsession with creating delicious spice blends. Now, he’s sharing that love with the world through Talan’s Twang~flavor-packed blends rooted in family and Southern flair.
Talan lives with his PonderLand parents, Mimi and Terry, two Australian Shepherds named Duke and Poppy, and a very opinionated cat named Chip. In his free time, Talan loves kicking back with all his grandparents~yep, he's blessed with the whole bunch~and soaking up time with his deep Southern Mama, who keeps the sass sharp.
